Facial Fractures

Dr. Tamez has the experience to assess and treat all aspects of facial trauma. He trained at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio which had a very intense training in trauma in the head and neck region. Since finishing his training in 1998, Dr. Tamez has held faculty positions at two busy Level I trauma centers in Houston, Texas and Fresno, California. Dr. Tamez addresses Nasal, Orbital Blowout, Zygomatic Arch/Zygomatico Maxillary Complex (ZMC), Lefort, Laryngeal and Temporal bone fractures. He keeps abreast of the latest in the management of these fractures and focuses on making the smallest and most cosmetically appealing incisions where necessary. Not only does he focus on cosmesis, but also focuses on function.
