Adenoidectomy

The adenoids are tonsil tissue behind the nose. The adenoids are removed because of nasal obstruction, chronic adenoidtonsillitis and chronic ear infections. Under general anesthesia, the adenoids are removed through the mouth. The procedure takes about 10 minutes and is accompanied by minimal discomfort and congestion.
